A sprinkler system for a typcial house ranges from $2500 to $3500 and the cost for doing the front yard only is $2300 to $2900. Both a front yard only and entire house require a controller, backflow device and the front yard, front flower bed, and the side of the driveway. Watering the side of the driveway usually requires digging around the house to get water to that side of the driveway. The additional cost for doing the backyard is usually 2 or 3 valves and 1/3 of the spray heads.
